Monodontomerus sp. (Small parasitic wasps)

Images

Taxonomy

Monodontomerus is a genus of parasitic wasp in the family Torymidae. If you see Monodontomerus sp. listed in your block results, the specimens were probably damaged or partial, and we were not able to identify them to species. However, the majority of Monodontomerus specimens that we identified in Bee Atlas blocks were Monodontomerus minor.

Description

Monodontomerus spp. are small, metallic blue/green wasps that emerge in groups from parasitized nests.
