Description: 1/4 inch long.
Slender weevil with a short blunt snout. Dark colored body covered by bright green, iridescent scales.

Where/When: Feeds on leaves of rose, strawberry, and other garden plants, as well as many trees and shrubs. Active in late May or June through August.

Significance: Generally occurs in low numbers and damage is usually cosmetic.
