Description: 1/16 - 1/2 inch long

Where/When: Found indoors anytime during the year. Usually brought into homes in infested boxes, bags, luggage, and other items.

Significance: Is a persistent, home-infesting insect. Also can be a public health problem by contaminating food and causing allergic reactions and asthma.
