Club root
Plasmodiophora brassicae

  • Swollen round galls form on the main root or on fibrous roots
  • Leaves turn pale yellow, wilt during hot, sunny days, and recover at night
  • Young plants may die
  • Common in wet soils with a low pH (acidic)
