Downy Mildew
Peronospora farinose f.sp. spinaciae

  • Fuzzy gray growth on leaf spots on the underside of the leaves
  • Irregular yellow spots on upper leaf surface
  • Leaves become water soaked, turn yellow, than brown, finally black and rotten
  • Disease is common in cool wet weather
