Taxonomy

Monodontomerus mexicanus is a species of parasitic wasp in the family Torymidae.

Description

Monodontomerus mexicanus are small, metallic blue/green wasps that emerge in groups from parasitized nests. They are very similar to Monodontomerus minor.

Nest Structure

Monodontomerus mexicanus only emerged from one nest in Bee Atlas blocks, and none of the host species emerged.
