Description: 1/3 - 7/16 inch long.
Green head and prothorax; copper colored wing covers. Has five tufts of white hair along the sides of the abdomen with two tufts on the tip of the abdomen.

Where/When: Feeds on hundreds of herbaceous and deciduous plant species, including roses and grapes. Adults are present from late June to early September.

Significance: Feeds on leaves, flowers, and fruits causing cosmetic damage and can be injurious to plants when abundant.
