Description: 1/3 - 7/16 inch long
Slender. Tannish to pale green with reddish-brown or orange spiny legs.

Where/When: Found in areas with sandy soil. Most commonly found on rose, peonies, and dahlias. Also feeds on the foliage of many trees and shrubs and on many fruits, such as grapes and raspberries. They are present from late May through June.

Significance: Feeds on flowers, leaves, and fruits. Can be damaging to plants when abundant.
