Convergent lady beetle larva

Description: Up to 1/3 inch long.
Where/When: Found in gardens, especially where aphids and other soft-bodied insects are present. The larvae are active in the late spring and summer.
Significance: Both larva and adult prey on aphids and are therefore beneficial in gardens.
