Description: 1 - 1 1/2 inches long. A stout insect with a dark brown body.

Where/When: Found wherever hardwood trees are present. Found climbing up objects such as trees, posts, fences, and even the sides of buildings. Active from July to August.

Significance: Does not harm people or trees.
