Description: 2 2/3 - 4 inches long. Large twig-like insect, brown to green in color with long antennae.

Where/When: Can be seen from late July through August on and around hardwood trees.

Significance: Feeds on leaves of some hardwood trees, especially oaks, but feeding is usually not severe.
