Description: 1/2 inch long.
Oval shaped. Yellow to tan with a black rectangular spot behind the head and an oval black spot on each wing cover.
Where/When: Found on flowers and foliage of many herbaceous plants, especially goldenrod. Active from late July to September.
Significance: Beneficial as pollinators.
