Goldsmith beetle

Description: 7/8 inch long.
Looks like a June beetle. Yellowish cream color, the area behind the head (the prothorax) usually has a green iridescence.

Where/When: Feeds on the leaves of willow, poplar and oak. Attracted to lights.

Significance: Primarily a curiosity when it is found. Does not harm trees.
