Description: 5 - 6 inch wingspan. Reddish-brown wings with distinct white crescent-shaped spots; white and reddish brown lines running through both wings.
Where/When: Associated with many different hardwood trees; commonly found at outdoor lights; present May into July.
Significance: One of the largest moths in Minnesota.
