Description: 1/5 inch long. Reddish-brown, with two large "pinchers". They move crab-like.

Where/When: Found in leaf litter and moist areas, also in cracks of building foundations. Commonly seen in spring and summer.

Significance: Beneficial as predators on small anthropods. Are harmless to people.
