Description: 1 - 1 1/4 inches long.

Where/When: Found indoors anytime during the year. Can be brought into homes in infested furniture, and other items. Is also associated with sewers and can enter homes through dry drains.

Significance: Occasional problem in homes and other buildings. Can be a public health problem by contaminating food and causing allergic reactions and asthma.
