Description: 1/3 inch long.

Where/When: Found in and around homes during fall and spring and occasionally during winter.

Significance: Generally a nuisance by entering homes, especially in large numbers. Is capable of biting and breaking the skin. Some people may develop an allergic reaction to them. They can stain the surface of objects.
