Description: 1/5 inch long as adults.

Where/When: In homes, hotels, motels, hostels, and other buildings where people live. Feed at night, hide in crevices during the day. Hiding places include seams in mattresses, crevices in box springs and spaces under baseboards or loose wallpaper. Found throughout the year.

Significance: Nuisance and irritation from bites. Not known to transmit disease to people.
