Description: 1/4 - 1/2 inch long.

Where/When: Found indoors in warm, damp, dark places throughout the year. Often associated with boiler and furnace rooms, steam tunnels, insulation around hot water or heating pipes, but can be found in many rooms in homes.

Significance: Mostly a nuisance. They may damage paper.
