Description: 1 to 1 1/2 inches long. Brown or gray with a cylindrical body and up to 400 very short legs. Can curl up if disturbed.

Where/When: Is associated with cool, moist areas outdoors. Can accidentally enter buildings, they are most common indoors in the fall but can also be present during spring and summer.
