Description: 1 - 1 1/2 inch long. Black with very long antennae with white stripes. Wing covers have many small white spots. Lacks a white spot at the base of the wing covers (see Whitespotted sawyer).

Where/When: Prefers maple and boxelder but is also common on elm, willow, buckeye and horse chestnut. Present July to October.
