Description: 3/8 inch long. Oval iridescent emerald green head and body with bronze colored wings. There are five tufts of white hair along each side of the abdomen and two tufts of white hair on the tip of the abdomen.

Where/When: Feeds on leaves, flowers, and fruits of a wide variety of different flowers, trees and shrubs, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and field crops. Present late June into September.
