Description: 1/8 inch–1/3 inch. Oblong shape with lacy wings and head. Whitish to brownish bodies with dark patterns.

Where/When: Found on a variety of trees and shrubs, including including serviceberry (juneberry), basswood, bur and white oak, chokecherry, cotoneaster, hawthorn, and walnut. Active spring and summer.
