Description: up to 1 1/4 inches long. White, flat body with a very small brownish head. Legs are absent and a pair of small pincer-like appendages are present on the tip of the abdomen.

Where/When: Found under the bark of ash trees where they create S-shaped tunnels. Present in all months of the year.
