Description: 1 inch long. Light green with light lines to dark brown with a black stripe on back, 3 pairs of prolegs.

Where/When: Attacks a wide variety of hardwood trees, including apple, ash, basswood, black cherry, boxelder, elm, hackberry, maple, and oak. Present late April to June.
