Description: 1 inch long. Yellow-green to reddish brown with yellow stripe on either side along length of body, 2 pairs of prolegs.

Where/When: Attacks a wide variety of hardwood trees, including apple, ash, basswood, black cherry, boxelder, elm, hackberry, maple, and oak. Present late April to June.
