  • Leaves have reddish brown irregular spots or blotches

Powdery mildew
Erysiphe ellissi and Phyllactinia guttata

  • White-gray, felt-like spots or patches on leaves
  • Infected leaves may curl, twist or fold upwards
  • Lower shaded leaves and small understory trees are most commonly affected
