Fruit
- Fruit are produced on the end of a twig
- Young fruit are light green to pinkish red 2" long lumpy or cone-like growths
- Fruit become woody and cone-like when mature
- Bright red, oval to tear drop shaped seeds appear from the fruiting cone
- Trees may produce many fruit one year and few the next
