White Mold
Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
- Plant wilts, and may eventually die
- Leaves, stems and pods first develop water-soaked lesions
- A white, cottony fungal growth develops on leaves, stems and pods
- Leaves yellow and fall off
- Infected stems dry out and turn light brown
- Hard black irregular to oval shaped sclerotia (fungal structures) form within and on infected plant parts

Potato Aphid, Green Peach Aphid, Bean Aphid, and Soybean Aphid
Macrosiphum euphorbiae and Myzus persicae, Aphis fabae and Aphis glycines
- Feeding by larger numbers of aphids can cause curling, stunting, and wilting of leaves
- Active during spring and summer
- Feeding by small or moderate numbers of aphids usually does not cause visible symptoms
- Small insects (1/10th inch long), pear-shaped, usually greenish; clustered on underside of leaves
